1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using somniumai.app or the SomniumAI mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

SomniumAI is a private, local-first dream journal with optional AI-guided reflections. The app allows you to record, organise, and search your personal dream archive on your device, and optionally request AI reflections using a credit system.

3. Important Disclaimer — Not Medical or Therapeutic Advice

SomniumAI is for journaling, self-reflection, cultural exploration, and entertainment only. It does not provide and must not be interpreted as providing:

Medical or clinical diagnosis of any condition
Psychological or psychiatric advice or therapy
Predictive information of any kind
Financial, gambling, or lottery advice
Any other professional advice

Folklore and symbolic content is presented solely as cultural tradition and entertainment. If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, please consult a qualified professional.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the service to submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service.
Circumvent any credit or payment mechanisms in the app.

5. Credits and Payments

AI reflections require credits. Credits are consumed when you request a reflection and are non-refundable once used. Purchased credit packs are subject to the refund policy of the platform through which they were purchased (Google Play / Apple App Store).

When an AI reflection request starts processing, the related credit consumption is considered final and cannot be cancelled or reversed on demand, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software of SomniumAI are the intellectual property of Sikelia Labs and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

7. Licence to Use

Sikelia Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the SomniumAI app on your personal device solely for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Sikelia Labs does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sikelia Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Italian Republic. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the use of SomniumAI shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Catania, Italy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
